Mission Support

God has called a number of people from our fellowship to serve him in the Church across the world. They go on our behalf and it is our privilege to support them in the ministries that they fulfil.

Roland and Carolien Smith

Maastricht, Netherlands

Roland and Carolien Smith have been living in the Netherlands since 2006, supporting different churches and community projects.  Roland (from Bishop’s Stortford) and Carolien (from the Netherlands) previously worked with ECM in Poland. They are members of Bishop’s Stortford Baptist Church and send regular prayer updates to the fellowship.

Internationally, Carolien coordinates ECM field member care and Roland is a member of the ECM field ministry development group.

Paul and Lizzie Reed

Eastern Europe / USA

Paul and Lizzie are currently based in the USA, where Paul is from, and have a calling to Central and Eastern Europe. Lizzie grew up in BSBC, where both her parents are members. Lizzie and Paul met in St Petersburg and later became involved with an international Christian secondary school there, where Lizzie was a teacher. Currently, they are considering a move to Hungary.

Tracy Moreton

Colchester, UK

Tracy works for Friends International, based at the University of Essex in Colchester. Friends International seek to build friendships and faith with international students across the UK, supporting international students to experience local culture, hear the Christian message and make new friends. Tracy is also the Assistant Chaplain at the Faith Centre at the University of Essex.

Jonathan and Margaret Kisenyi

Jinja, Uganda

Jonathan and Margaret work with members of the East African Revival Fellowship, Uganda. It has its roots in a revival movements that started in Rwanda and spread to the rest of East Africa (Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania) in the late 1920s. The work involves evangelism and mentoring of new Christians in communities, schools, hospitals and prisons. The emphasis of the work is on schools.

Eric and Claire Singirankabo

Huye District, Rwanda

Eric and Claire are working among HIV/AIDS patients, visiting homes and hospitals in Huye District, Southern Province, Rwanda.

Storly and Kate Michel

USA / Haiti

Storly (Haitian) and Kate (English), a daughter of a previous church member, run 4VEH, serving God and the Haitian people through media (radio / TV) under the umbrella of One Mission Society.

They have two daughters, Hannah and Esther – both in high school in Indiana, USA. They live with Kate, who does administration and publicity for 4VEH.

Storly spends much of the year in Cap Haitian, Haiti, where 4VEH is based, sending out daily evangelistic recordings, bringing the gospel and a varied programme of music and local news, giving hope and comfort to the people of Haiti in difficult times.

Rachel Tallintire

London, UK

Rachel is a Staff Worker for UCCF in East London, working to support university Christian Unions across the area. Rachel is passionate about helping students share their faith in every area of their lives.
