Pastoral Care

As an outworking of our faith, we seek to show love, care and support to all in our church community. This includes emotional, social and spiritual support.

Pastoral Support

Our pastoral coordinator works closely with our ministers and ministry leaders to identify needs. The pastoral team supports the coordinator in meeting the needs that occur.

  • Our team is made up of Hazel Bintley (coordinator), Sarah Davidson and Cincita Ribeiro. The team meets monthly, together with the Designated Person for Safeguarding (adults), Steve Barber.

  • If you – or anyone you know – would like prayer support, please do not hesitate to contact the Prayer Chain at any time. All matters are treated in the strictest confidence.

    The people to ring are Cherry South and Grace Purton whose telephone numbers are in the weekly bulletin and bsbc.life magazine. They consider it a privilege to be able to pray for you, and if the problem is ongoing, would appreciate an update as Prayer Chain members will not contact you so that confidentiality can be maintained.

    If you would like a request passed on to the leadership team, please let us know, otherwise only the Prayer Chain will be informed.
